4th & 5th Grade: Celebrate Your Freedom to Read!
- Does everyone like to eat the same food, watch the same movies, play the same sports? Does everyone like to read the same books? We understand that not everyone wants to read the same books.
- You and your family know which books you are ready to read from the Elementary Library.
- If you aren't ready for a scary or sad book or you feel it's inappropriate for you, then YOU and your family get to make that decision to return the book to the library and select another book.
- When a book is taken off the shelf for ALL, it doesn't allow YOU to make your own choices. "If you don't want to read the book, don't check it out!" -5th grade student.
